What is an Appathon?

A Appathon is a challenge event, lasting one to two days,  where teams of students organize into compaines, where they elect officers and then run their tech company to solve a challenge developing an App. Appathons can focus on coding, engineering, product development, and even broader problems like social justice, ethics or healthcare solutions.

What is the goal of a Appathon?

Appathons help students develop soft skills, management skills, software, and design skills. These durable skills and competencies include creative problem-solving, collaboration, teamwork, and much more.

How do Appathons benefit students?

In addition to helping students develop durable skills, Appathons prepare students to navigate pressure in high-energy, challenging, and fast-paced professional environments.
