The information at the links below is provided by the Competition Co-Founders to assist participants in doing calculations and understanding concepts that are integral to completing a proposal for entry in the Qualifying Competition. Note to Educators: Above all, the Space Settlement Design Competition is designed as an innovative learning experience that will help you inspire students. Although we feel that students derive the most benefit from going through the entire Competition process, educators are welcome and encouraged to use the materials as tools for other classroom and extracurricular activities.
